Almost all the people I know have this thing for adventure sports and they have built professional kits for their use. I though it was high time that I assembled my own kit as well and decided to get entry level device as this is the first time I am getting such a device. For the GPS system, I procured Garmin eTrex Legend GPS Receiver for a very affordable price. The device came with support for MapSource and MetroGuide. One of the main things that I have come to like about the device is its click stick switch. The device has a resolution of 160 x 288 pixels and sometimes I have difficulty reading the small text.
